This past week I had the honor of a session with Nashville’s great photographer, Jessi Walton‘s little fella and his big sister. These two were just about as sweet as the come, full of personality, and such love for one another, I had such a blast with them, and caught some sweet pics in the process…Enjoy!
…Getting to play the next day!!!
The morning after Marcus and Amber’s wedding I woke up around 5. I wanted to explore the island more, and make a pit stop in Savannah, before I began the 400+, 7.5 hr drive home. I loved all the big, beautiful, moss covered trees, and there was a great fog hanging in the air, so I headed out extra early to capture it. After leaving South Carolina, I headed for Savannah. I was so excited to finally get to visit this city I had been hearing so many wonderful things about. Unfortunately after a long and stressful day before, and a night of only a few hours sleep, I was worn out; I hit up River st, and the neighborhood around it, and was ready to begin my long journey home. I can’t wait to return and take full advantage of all Savannah has to offer, until then here are some of the sights…ENJOY!
Lots of food lying around, the “Beach” was primarily made up of oyster shells, so many oyster shells…
I had the Joy of working with Stefani again, and this time we were on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. This was my first time in Hilton Head, and man was it beautiful!! Amber and Marcus chose a gorgeous spot to say “I do”, and I was thrilled to be able to help capture it. I had a tough time narrowing down some blog images, so here is a whole bunch…Enjoy!
I loved getting to see these three beautiful sisters, and their sweet Momma last week at the gardens. I have quickly learned that there will never be a dull moment in a Snuggs family session. These girls are so full of personality, creativity, and curiosity, it makes photographing them always a blast! It was a gate climbing, rose smelling, fence hoping, grass eating kind of session and we captured some stunning shots, hope you enjoy!
I had the most wonderful time with these two downtown! The night before Alabama was rocked by some serious storms, and the next morning these two rocked this engagement session, despite the chilly wind. Their love for one another leaps from each frame, and I loved capturing all the laughing, loving moments. Capturing a love like theirs made my heart soar, and I just can’t wait to capture their big day!! Enjoy…
Happy Friday! Okay so I have fallen a little behind on blogging, but I promise I’m going to make it up to you today, and what better way to kick it off than with a great session with a sweet sweet family out at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. I had so much fun with them, and we were able to capture some precious moments, before I had to dash off to Hilton Head to help Stefani with another wedding( those will becoming later ). Enjoy!
These two just recently got engaged, and I am so excited for the both of them. Michael and Pamela are two of my dear friends that hail from Mississippi. They both lived here in the ham for awhile, and currently reside in their home state, so I was delighted when Pamela told me she and her new fiance would be coming over for an engagement session this past Friday!! We had a great time hiking around the woods, roaming the streets downtown, and riding around while catching up! Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Can’t wait for the big day!!
Okay so I am finally starting to get caught up…
The Spring and wedding seasons are here, and I am totally ready for them!! I helped Stefani from Lost in the Moment Photography, shoot a wedding in Prattville a couple of weekends ago. Cayla and Kennith said “I do” on the 19th, and I couldn’t have been more excited to help capture their big day!! The beautiful ceremony, was followed by a photo op in the heart of Montgomery, in route to the reception. I had so much fun being apart of this wonderful celebration, and wish the newly weds nothing but love and happiness for the years to come. Enjoy!!
I just love days that start with the Burns family! We met at the gardens for Reese’s two year session (just a tiny bit late), and she was not into it… until Diva a.k.a. Big sis stepped up and showed Reesie how to do it. Sophie could tell Reese was kind of nervous, the trucks going by outside the gardens were making her jump, as they were walking down the main path together Sophie leaned over and said, “I promise I won’t let anything happen to you”. Talk about melt your heart…I love being there to watch these two grow up, and capture it along the way! Enjoy!
Whew! What an awesome, fun filled, slam packed few weeks I have had. I can’t wait to catch you up!
I’ll start with the awesome long weekend at Pensacola beach. I was lucky enough to be invited to come along with Ryan, his mom and stepdad, brother Kyle and his lovely lady Chelsea to the beach for a few days. Cheryl (Ryan’s mom) booked us a beautiful condo with ocean views from every room!! The condo also happened to be located across the street from Peg Leg Pete’s Oyster bar and Restaurant, and on this specific weekend Peg Leg’s was home to Oysterfest 2011. Needless to say the weekend consisted of lying on the beach, consuming beachy beverages, and plenty of Oysters…It really was perfect, we even caught an up-close and personal look at a sting ray, thanks to Randy. Take a look… Enjoy!
